This Chinese character means MEDICINE. There are four compenents to the character.
In the top left corner there is the drawing of a person laying in a bed, to the right of the person is the doctor kneeling taking their pulse. Under the doctor on the bottom right is an ancient metal tool which represents acupuncture needles and to the left of this tool under the patient in the bed, is the herbal tonic wine used as medicine.
